TEACH US TO NUMBER OUR DAYS THAT WE MAY GAIN A HEART OF WISDOM

It was around 4 p.m. in the evening It hit on the left side of the upper part of my back Shh! don’t speak. Shh! did that just hit me? Shh! what just happened?

The spot was taut and heavy I could sense the venom twirling Wait! Was this spreading through my body? Wait! Was this dispersing into my soul? Wait! Was this diffusing into my spirit?

The toxin kept going back to the spot No crutch was found No! No sin to cling to. No! This soul is incorruptible. No! This spirit is fiery.

It really was back to sender Someone pulled the dart out Ah! Finally, it’s out. Ah! A gaping hole is exposed. Ah! Do spirits bleed?

I wanted all the poison out So I ate the word Hmm! Ate His flesh, drank His blood. Hmm! Do I smell tears of forgiveness? Hmm! Healing has begun.

Indeed a weapon can be fashioned Doesn’t mean it will prosper Yes! I was hit big time. Yes! Now I’m free full time. Yes! He took my place.

Eyes closed She kept walking

Eyes open She kept walking

In the midst of water She kept walking

Into the burst of light She kept walking

She sucked She kept walking

She crawled She kept walking

She walked She kept walking

She danced She kept walking

She grew She kept walking

She stubbed her toe She kept walking

She sulked She kept walking

She won She kept walking

She falls She keeps walking

She fails She keeps walking

She loses She keeps walking

She grieves She keeps walking

She hurts She keeps walking

She cries She keeps walking

She limps She keeps walking

She rises She keeps walking

She runs She keeps walking

She stumbles She keeps walking

She runs again She keeps walking

She dances She keeps walking

She speaks She keeps walking

She sings She keeps walking

She stands She keeps walking

She lives She keeps walking

She slays She keeps walking

She lives

She keeps walking

And even now

She keeps walking

She doesn’t intend to stop

She keeps walking
